Induction Cooktops

dE and the cooking zones do not heat up

The demo mode has been activated.

1. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply for 30 seconds by briefly switching off the circuit breaker in the fuse box.

2. Touch any control on the cooktop within the next three minutes.

E7010

The cooktop is unable to connect to your home network or to the hood.

1. Switch the appliance off and on again.

- If the fault/error was a one-off occurrence, the message will disappear.

- If the message appears again, call Bosch Customer Support at 1-800-944-2904 and specify the exact error code when calling.

E9000 or E9010

The supply voltage is incorrect. It is outside the normal operating range.

Contact your electrical utility provider or contact Bosch Customer Support at 1-800-944-2904 for assistance.

F1 or F6

The cooking zone has overheated. It has switched off to protect the work surface.

1. Wait until the electronics have cooled down sufficiently.

2. Switch the cooking zone back on and you can continue to cook.

F2, F4 or E7015

The electronics have overheated. The corresponding cooking zone has switched off.

1. Wait until the electronics have cooled down sufficiently.

2. Touch any control element on the cooktop.

3. When the error message disappears and the electronics have cooled down sufficiently, you can continue to cook.

F5 and the power level flashes alternately with a signal tone

There is hot cookware near the control panel. The electronics are at risk of overheating.

Remove the cookware from the control panel and you can continue to cook.

F5 and a signal tone

There is hot cookware near the control panel. The cooking zone has switched off to protect the electronics.

1. Remove the cookware from the control panel.

2. Wait a few seconds.

3. Touch any control element on the cooktop.

4. When the error message disappears and the electronics have cooled down sufficiently, you can continue to cook.

F8 + H/h and the cooking zones are not heating

The cooking zone has been operating continuously for an extended period of time without interaction. The automatic time limitation has been triggered.

1. Simply touch any control element on the cooktop.

2. You can set the cooking zone and continue to cook.

U400

The supply voltage is incorrect. It is outside the normal operating range.

F2, F4 or F5 and the automatic ignition is not working

The electronics have overheated.

Turn all burners off or use the minimum power level until the electronic system has cooled down sufficiently.

E01

There is a heat pump motor circuit fault at the main control board.

E02

There is a main control board relay fault/error.

There is a main control board relay fault/error.

There is a wash arm diverter circuit in main control board fault/error.

There is a door sensor circuit fault/error.

The Zeolite (Crystal Dry) fan motor is defective.

There is a heat pump internal heater fault/error.

There is a Zeolite (Crystal Dry) chamber heater fault/error.

E12

There is limescale build-up in the heat pump.

The dishwasher needs to be descaled. The Bosch descaler can be used to descale your dishwasher.

Dishwashers are used on a regular basis which means that limescale can build up quickly, especially in hard water areas. To help your dishwasher work efficiently and effectively, and to ensure your dishes come out clean, regular descaling is important.

To help avoid this issue in the future, use softening salt in your dishwasher if it comes with a water softener function.

Purchase the Bosch descaler here and purchase softening salt here .

E14

There is a flow meter failure or an issue with water flowing into the dishwasher or the filling system.

Contact Bosch Customer Support at 1-800-944-2904 for assistance.

E15

The safety switch has detected water in the base of the dishwasher. Your leakage protection system has been activated.

Please turn off the water inflow and contact Bosch Customer Support at 1-800-944-2904 for assistance.

E16 and E17

There is an issue with water flowing into the dishwasher or the filling system. The water may not be able to enter the dishwasher.

Check the inlet hose and make sure it isn't kinked or damaged. For further assistance on how to troubleshoot your dishwasher, contact Bosch Customer Support at 1-800-944-2904 .

E18

There is an issue with water flow into the dishwasher. The water level is too low, or water is not being pumped correctly.

1. Check the inlet hose and make sure it isn't kinked or damaged.

2. Make sure the water supply is turned on. The water flow rate should be 10 l/min.

E19

There is a detergent dispenser solenoid circuit fault/error.

The dishwasher filter is blocked. The filter is the area where food particles get caught and it needs to be cleaned regularly.

E23

There is an issue with the drain pump. This happens when the drain pump is blocked, clogged, or faulty.

The dishwasher is not draining properly due to the drain filter being blocked.

1. Check the inlet hose and ensure it's not kinked or damaged.

2. The pump cover may be loose. The pump cover is located at the bottom of the dishwasher underneath the filter. Remove the filter to reveal the pump cover and ensure that it’s not loose. If you have trouble locating it, review your owner's manual .

3. If the dishwasher drain hose is connected to a garbage disposal's dishwasher drain connection, ensure that the plug is removed from the disposer’s dishwasher drain connection.

E25

The drain pump is blocked or the drain pump cover is loose or missing.

1. Check to see if the drain pump cover is loose. The pump cover is located at the bottom of the dishwasher underneath the filter. Remove the filter to reveal the pump cover and ensure that it’s not loose. If you have trouble locating it, review your owner’s manual .

2. The drain pump may be blocked. The pump is located at the bottom of the dishwasher underneath the filter. First, remove the filter completely to reveal the drain pump cover. Next, pry off the pump cover with a spoon until it clicks. Grip the cover and pull upward until you feel resistance. Then pull forward to remove the cover completely. Check the pump and remove any debris and standing water with a sponge. Use caution as some debris may be sharp. If needed, review your owner's manual for more specific instructions.

E27

The house power supply to the unit is too low.

Reset power to breaker for 30 seconds.If the error occurs again, contact an electrician to check incoming voltage to the appliance.

Induction Slide-In Ranges

1. Clean the control panel with a dry cloth.

2. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply by switching off the fuse in the fuse box and switch it back on after 10 seconds.

The icemaker is faulty or the ice water system controls have a communiciation issue.

There is a dispenser user interface fault/error.

Countertop Expresso Machines

“Fill Tank Symbol” and “Descale Symbol” flash simultaneously

If “Fill Tank Symbol” and “Descale Symbol” flash simultaneously and you are unable to prepare a drink, an error has occurred.

Turn the machine off. Wait 5 minutes and turn the machine back on. If both symbols are still flashing, please contact the Bosch Customer Support Team at 1-800-944-2904 for assistance.

Washers

CL

The Child Lock is activated.

E:00 <-> -18

The pump is blocked (obstructed).

Clean the washer drain hose and/or the drain pipe. You may also need to perform pump maintenance to clear the blockage (see your owner's manual to learn how to do this). Click here to find your owner's manual.

E:00 <-> -23

There is water in the base and/or the appliance is leaking.

Turn off the water tap and call Bosch Customer Support at 1-800-944-2904 for assistance.

E16, E34, F16 or F34

The door is not locked properly.

Close the door properly (clicks audibly). In particular, a full load may prevent the door from closing properly. Check whether there is something jammed between the door and housing. Restart the program.

E17, F17 or F29

The filters in the water connection or AquaStop hose are blocked or the water pressure is too low.

1. Clean the filters in the water supply hose. Attention: The AquaStop safety device contains an electric valve so do not immerse in water. Instructions: 1. Turn the tap off. 2. Take the hose off the tap. 3. Clean the filters using a small brush. 4. For appliances without an AquaStop, remove the hose from the back of the appliance. Take out the filter with pliers and clean it. 5. Reconnect the hose and check for leaks.

2. Fully turn on the tap and approximately 2.5 gallons (10 liters) of water per minute must flow out of the fully open tap. Contact your plumber if the water pressure is too low.

E18 or F18

The drainage hose is blocked or kinked.

1. Clean the filters in the water supply hose. Attention: The leaking water may be very hot with a risk of scalding. Set program to OFF. Pull out the main plug. Check whether the drainage hose has been installed without kinks. Loosen the hose clip on the siphon and carefully remove drainage hose and any residual water. Clean drainage hose and siphon spigot. Hold drainage hose in a bucket and select the DRAIN program. Connect drainage hose to the siphon and check for leaks.

2.Clean the pump. Attention: The leaking water may be very hot with a risk of scalding. Set program to OFF. Pull out the main plug. Open and remove service flap. Drain any water through the drainage hose by slowly removing the pump cover. Clean the interior, pump cover thread and pump housing. The impeller wheel of the pump must be able to turn. Re-insert the pump cover and screw on firmly. To check for leaks, pour 1 quart (1 liter) of water into the detergent dispenser. Check for leaks and then start the DRAIN program.

E32 or F32

An imbalance is detected. If the imbalance is too large, the spin cycle will not run or it will reduce its speed to protect your appliance. In addition, the appliance will attempt to improve distribution of the laundry by several spin attempts. This will extend the program running time.

Please wash large and small items together to reduce the imbalance. Make sure to close zippers and buttons on pillows and duvet covers.

E33 or F33

Detergent foam has been detected. Too much detergent or an old detergent was used. This may cause excessive foaming from the detergent compartment. This may happen when washing lightly soiled items.

Reduce the amount of detergent. In particular, when washing slightly soiled laundry, the amount of detergent should be reduced. Information on the amount of detergent to use can be found on the detergent packaging.

E80

There's a fault/error in the drive circuit.

Faults can only be eliminated by an authorized technician. Contact Bosch Customer Support at 1-800-944-2904 for assistance.

H9E and a water tap icon is shown

This error code could be caused by a number of issues - please check the following:

The hot water tap is not turned on.

Confirm hot water hose is correctly connected and turn on the hot water tap.

The supply hose for hot water is kinked or pinched closed.

Eliminate the kink or blockage. Replace the hose if damaged.

The hot water pressure is too low.

Check the hot water pressure and fix if needed.

The strainer in the water supply hose is clogged.

Clean out the strainers in the supply hose.

Dryers

E01 or E02

Lthe lnt filter is blocked and needs to be cleaned.

Clean the lint filter after each drying cycle. Occasionally rinse out the lint and fluff filter with warm water.

E06

There is a fault/eror detected with the heating circuit.

This fault can only be eliminated by an authorized technician. Contact Bosch Customer Support at 1-800-944-2904 for assistance.

E08, E09, E24, E25, E28 or E90

There is an electronics fault/error.

This fault can only be eliminated by an authorized technician. Contact Bosch Customer Support at 1-800-944-2904 for assistance.
