After your refrigerator is installed, wait at least one hour. Before switching on the fridge, wipe it with a cloth and lukewarm water.

If your refrigerator has an icemaker, make sure the ice bin is inserted and aligned correctly. If it’s not aligned properly, the ice maker won’t create ice.

Recommended temperature settings
Refrigerator: It is recommended that your refrigerator temperature is set between 37°F - 39°F

Freezer: It is recommended that your freezer temperature is set to 0°F

Using SuperCool and SuperFreeze settings

Using SuperCool and SuperFreeze settings

Use the SuperCool setting when you need to place large quantities of food in the refrigerator compartment or to cool down drinks quickly. The temperature is set to 34°F. After about 2 hours, SuperCool turns off automatically.

Use the SuperFreeze setting when you need to quickly freeze items (so your ice cream you just bought from the grocery store doesn't melt). Turn on SuperFreeze a few hours before you head to the grocery store. The temperature is set to -8°F. After 6 hours, SuperFreeze turns off automatically.

Storage Tips for your Refrigerator

Deli meats and cheese: Store deli meats and cheese in the full width drawer or somewhere in the middle of the refrigerator to keep them nicely chilled and ready to serve.

Fruits and vegetables: Store fruits and vegetables in the freshness drawers of your refrigerator. Depending on your model, you may be able to control the humidity with a simple slider. Fruits should be kept in low humidity and vegetables in high humidity.

Milk: Milk jugs fit perfectly in the gallon door bins of your refrigerator

Condiments, jams, jellies: Store these in the door bins for easy access

Meats and fish: Store meats and fish in the lower compartments of the refrigerator.
