Additional cleaning tips

How to clean your machine's exterior

Ensure that your appliance is disconnected from the power supply. Then, wipe down all exterior surfaces, including the control panel, with a microfiber cloth. Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the dispensing nozzle and rinse out your water tank.

DO NOT use strong or abrasive cleaners, cleaners containing alcohol, scouring pads or cleaning sponges, pure citric acid, vinegar-based cleaners, or phosphoric acid as these may damage the surface of your espresso machine.

How to clean your machine’s interior

Your espresso machine will automatically rinse itself when switched on or off. The appliance will also alert you when it is time to clean and descale. Run your appliance’s cleaning and descaling program when the “calc’n Clean” or water droplet button lights up on your display. Delaying may affect the performance of your appliance and taste of your beverage.

However, if your appliance has not been used in a while, we recommend cleaning the water tank, milk frother or milk dispenser, drip tray, coffee grounds container, and brewing unit. Wipe down the exterior and interior of your espresso machine as well with a soft, damp cloth.

DO NOT use a steam cleaner or high-pressure cleaner to clean your espresso machine.
